If you know me, I’m obsessed with beauty products. I love to try new makeup and get creative with my look. I really enjoy doing my own makeup, and now that I’m getting my booty up a bit more early to get my workout in, I have time to actually do my makeup! I’m obsessed with fun eyelids so this extra time gives me more time to experiment with fun looks and colors! My current makeup artist obsession is Patrick Ta. He’s a makeup artist to the stars and his looks are PERFECTION! Simple, sophisticated & glam. I love his thin eyeliner with clean face looks, he’s a genius in my eyes.

A few products I’m coveting at the moment are:

Weapons of mass seduction by MB York

These Vegan brushes are a makeup artist’s dream! They are soft and perfect for applying all of your favorite powders, shadows and more. The coolest part about these brushes is that they are numbered and marked making it easy to match the brush with the part of the face you are applying to!

Nude eyeliner

Technakohl Liner in risqué by MAC

Pop this bad boy on your water line (inside of the bottom of you eye) to get a more wide-eyed look. I’m obsessed with this look lately thanks to Mr. Ta! He uses white on his ladies but I like the nude look for a more subtle look.

Highlighter!!

Shimmering Skin Perfector by Becca

Don’t mind my broken compact! I dropped it the day I purchased this goddess like powder and had to You Tube a way to put it back together :( good news, it worked! This shimmer goes on the cheeks, nose, brow bones and can even be used as eyeshadow! It gives the most perfect glow!

Makeup is definitely one of my favorite ways to play with my look now and again. If you need inspiration, look on Pinterest or find some makeup artists on Instagram to match a style you like. The ladies at Sephora or Ulta are always helpful to fine the products you need to achieve your wanted look!
