Late nights and early mornings have become the usual routine around here. In the morning, im up as early as 5:30 to get my workout in before everyone, including the sun, is up. After I workout, I immediately go into the kitchen to make everyone breakfast and pack up lunches for the day.  I make sure everyone is off to school and work with or without a shower, depending on if I had time that morning, and take my daughter to school. Days are filled with work, errands and so much more. Evenings are spent cooking dinner and making sure my little girl gets her bath in early enough so she’s ready for Daddy to read and put her to bed. Then I have my “ME” time. This consists of working around the house some nights and other nights it happens to contain vegging out in bed binge watching Gilmore Girls. As you can tell from this description, I am a busy lady!

The older I get, the busier I get. This means more wrinkles, yuck! Since I’ve had my daughter, I can definitely see more defined fine lines in my skin around my mouth and eyes. The bags under my eyes are just a fun bonus. I’ve changed up my skincare routine quite a bit to find a sweet spot to hydrate my skin a bit more and to preserve my youth a bit longer. Recently I’ve incorporated Simply Venom into my day and night skincare routine. Simply Venom is a safe and non-toxic alternative to Botox. I like to call it the Dream Cream! What I love about this cream is that it’s not only paraben free, gluten free, dye free and fragrance free, but it works to relax your face muscles to reduce wrinkles! I put on Simply Venom after I wash my face at night before bed and in the morning under my tinted moisturizer.

One of my most favorite things about this cream is that the two anesthesiologists that developed them are very transparent about their ingredients. A lot of products on the market, especially beauty products, have a lot of ingredients in them that are not only unsafe but aren’t disclosed to the public at all! As a semi crunchy mom, I am more apt to choose items for myself and my children that are honest about their ingredients and are safe for us to put on our bodies.

Even though I may not always have a ton of time for myself, I make sure that skincare is a top priority. Feeling good definitely comes from within but when I look good, I feel good throughout. To be a good mom, I know how important it is to take care of me sometimes and even if it’s a little cream at night and in the morning, it’s worth those extra five minutes of self care to help make me a better me!
