Skincare has always been important to me ever since I was little. When I was about 10 years old I remember my mom taking me to the local mall to the beauty counter to purchase my first skincare regimen, and I was hooked ever since. I’ve done my research over the years to try to find the best fit for me when it comes to my routine to find the best way to take care of my particular skin. For awhile I wasn’t very responsible with taking off my makeup at night or washing my face before bed. After I had my daughter a little over three years ago, I decided it was time to step up my game again. I noticed that as I inched into my thirties, more fine lines began to appear on my face and I knew it was time to start taking better care of my skin. I began to take off my makeup every night, wash my face and apply moisturizer and eye cream. I noticed a difference almost immediately!

Trying new skincare lines is definitely something I love to do. I don’t think it’s a one size fits all when it comes to skin and there’s always room for improvement. When I discovered Dermatologist’s Choice I had to try it! Dermatologist’s Choice is a clinical skin care line formulated for results by being a Glycolic (AHA) line. Glycolic comes naturally from sugar cane and is great because it can be used on all skin types! My favorite part of this line is that it was developed by a top Dermatologist, Dr. Richard Bottiglione, right here in sunny Arizona. Who would know what’s better for your skin than a skin doctor himself?! When I tried the cleanser, I noriced it makes your skin feel super clean to start or end the day. It’s lightweight and you can tell by the suds that it’s really taking the dirt and whatever else your toddler got on your face that day off. There are no harsh chemicals in this soap and it is formulated to get all of the trapped dirt under your skin without drying it out.

The moisturizer is perfect, especially for the summer time. It is loaded with SPF protecting your skin while you are out and about and helps replenish your skins moisture at the same time! Something I’ve learned over the years is how important sunscreen is, espcially in your skincare routine. Sun damage is not only dangerous but most of the time irreversible and you can never get back that virgin skin you once had as a youngster.

With all of the crazy hormones happening in my body, Dermatologists Choice helped me stay blemish free and my complexion stayed smooth and clear.
